HIYA! My name is Mickey Dean (aka Michael Fisher) and I am a guitar player, producer and songwriter. I produce singer/songwriters at The Waffle Ranch a ProTools studio I have in Millersville, Pa. I still tour a little with some national and regional artists. Right now I am playing on Charlie Gracie's new CD with Al Kooper, Graham Nash, Peter Noone (Herman's Hermit's), Jimmy Vivino, and some guys from The Smithereens and Los Straightjackets. (update: The CD For The Love Of Charlie, has been released in the USA  to rave reviews and is doing really well with a lot of radio airplay on stations like WXPN.) It has already led to some very flattering offers to record with some really exciting artists who were some of my idols coming up....

  Mickey Dean is my real name kinda sorta. My grandfather Saul Fisher was a gangster in Abe Minker's gang briefly during prohibition. His nickname was Mick.
When I was born, I became Mickey. Dean is my real middle name. Mickey Dean sounds like some kind of quality pork product you would eat for breakfast. I like that.

While I am most often employed as an emergency guitar player in live situations, I would be VERY interested in actually JOINING a band doing something in the Americana Genre. This desire to maybe join a band is motivated far more by my need for fun than my need for profit, so don't be shy! What you got? (yes i would be willing to come to practice lol).
